Detection of contaminants is a key part of food safety. Moldex has both disposable and reusable metal detectable hearing protection that has been carefully crafted for maximum safety.
INDEPENDENTLY DETECTABLE
All Moldex metal detectable hearing products feature both a metal detectable cord and a metal detectable earplug for maximum safety. The enclosed metal ball bearing eliminates any exposed metal on the plug. The ball bearing and cord are in separate holes so that the earplugs remain detectable even if the cord is removed. Should either become detached there is no concern for lost parts, as both remain detectable.
CORDED AND BLUE FOR ADDED SAFETY
Our disposable Metal Detectable SparkPlugs earplugs and our reusable Metal Detectable Rockets and Alphas are corded to prevent plug loss. The bright blue color is perfect for food processing applications.
SOFT COMFORTABLE FIT
SparkPlugs earplugs are made of extra-soft, extra-light foam and have a non-irritating smooth surface. Their tapered shape fits easily in the ear canal, and seals gently and snugly without pressure. They’re so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing earplugs. Rockets have an air bubble in the tip to provide cushioned comfort for all-day wear. The soft, flexible flanges provide a superior seal and fit most size ear canals. The easy grip handle lets them easily slip into the ear and Rockets can be washed and reused. Alphas offers a premium product at an economical price thanks to innovative engineering.
